Crystal Palace have sacked Frank de Boer after just 5 games in charge.
De Boer who replaced Sam Allardyce in June, lost all four of his League games without scoring in a single game. His only win came in Carabao Cup second round game, in which Palace won 2–1 against Ipswich Town at home.
He now has shortest Premier League managerial tenure in terms of matches.
De Boer after the decision, said on Instagram: “Very disappointed about the decision but never the less I want to thank the players, staff and the fans for their support. Good luck for the future.”
Former England boss Roy Hodgson is tipped to be his successor. Will be interesting to see where he can take this depleted Palace squad as they sit 19th currently on the league table.
It will be interesting to see De Boer’s next move after failing to deliver at his last two clubs after initial success with Ajax.
