The UFC Women’s Strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend her title against long time title contender Rose Namajunas at UFC 217. The two strawweight warriors will collide at Madison Square Garden on November 4th, 2017.

The champion has defended her title five times and has an excellent record of 14 wins and no loses. Where as the title contender, Namajunas will be entering the Octagon with a record of 6 wins and three losses.
This won’t be the first time Namajunas has fought for the title. She has also struggled to win the title in the inaugural UFC Women’s strawweight title fight against Carla Esparza.
Where as the champion, on the other hand, will defend her title for the 6th time and tie Ronda Rousey’s record of six defenses which is the highest title defenses made by a woman inside the Octagon.
