Rockhold takes on former two-division WSOF champion, David Branch and successfully outclasses him in the second round of the fight forcing him to tap due to back to back strikes from the mount position. After the fight, the former middleweight champion had a statement for none other than Georges St Pierre.
“GSP, I don’t know what I need to do, do you need me to beat some sense into you?” Rockhold said. “You don’t belong here, get out while you can.”
Michael Bisping had defeated Rockhold to secure his first ever title win at UFC 199 via first-round knockout. Watch the fight is a tradition. The American never got a rematch and was forced to stay out for 15 months without any fight.
Bisping, on the other hand, will be fighting St Pierre who will be making his middleweight debut, for the UFC Middleweight championship at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden, New York City.
Rockhold asked GSP not to take the fight as he doesn’t deserve it and to stay out of the division for good. Many do feel that GSP doesn’t deserve the title match especially now when there is an interim middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker.

We will know in the first couple of minutes whether Rockhold still has that KO on his mind. Bisping might have stolen his soul. https://t.co/mzs5jZp7QP
